Can you take foam out of Pelican case?

Let the Pelican case start to sweat then start prying around the edge with a scraper. I also leave the case in the freezer for a day or two before I try to remove the foam. May be longer then needed but it has always worked for me. The hot water works to just give it a few minutes under the running hot water.

Can you take a Pelican case on an airplane?

Use a TSA approved padlock (special key) so they can open it without busting things. Generally it is pretty safe, but as with anything NOT in your immediate possession you run the risk of theft. And yes, a Pelican case will attract attention, but is generally bulletproof to anyone without the key.
