Quiet Waters Park is located on Harness Creek and South River. There is plenty of parking, but it is approximately 1/3 mile on a paved walking trail to the floating dock launch. The trail is located off of the Blue Heron parking lot on the western side of the park.

The playground is located at the main parking lot at John Downs Loop. There are restrooms close to the playground at the visitor center and picnic areas throughout the park for families to sit and eat lunch together. There is an entrance fee of $6 per vehicle to enter Downs Beach Park.
