Do you have to take a language at IU?

How do I study for icore IU?
With I-Core exams four days in a row, you have no time to even breathe, let alone cram a whole new subject into 24 hours. So plan out your semester to, preferably, try to keep up with everyday material. I know this might be a new concept to you, but trying to study each day’s material on the same day actually helps.
Will my credits transfer to Indiana University?
Most course credits from approved schools will transfer to IU as long as we offer an equivalent or comparable course. Only courses in which you receive a grade of C or higher will transfer. Courses in which you receive a grade of C- or lower are listed on your CTR as non-transferable coursework.
What is a passing grade at IU East?

In all honesty, they didn’t say they were useless, simply that knowing another subject as well would be more beneficial. Of course languages are incredibly beneficial on a personal or professional level, but if you know nothing but a language, you won’t get anywhere in life.

Can I take I-core classes outside of IUB?
Consult with your academic advisor prior to enrolling in any type of I-Core prerequisite outside of IU Bloomington, as many course requirements have recently been updated. Also, refer to the Transfer Course information page for the intricacies of taking a course away from IUB.
What is the strict prerequisite policy for I-core?
Strict prerequisite polices are enforced for I-Core. To remain enrolled in I-Core, all courses, including transfer credits, must be documented as satisfied. Failure to produce evidence of successful completion of any unsatisfied I-Core prerequisite (s) by the stated deadline will result in administrative removal.
