Can you use DensGlass for exterior sheathing?
Densglass sheathing is an ideal choice for your exterior walls, thanks to its structural properties. It is often used in insulation, finishing systems, as well as cladding, and stone veneer applications. However, it can also be implemented in an interior finishing system.
Can DensGlass be used for roof sheathing?
Do not laminate masonry surfaces to DensGlass Sheathing; use furring strips or framing. DensGlass Sheathing is not intended for roof applications. For roof applications, consult our DensDeck® Roof Board brochure. DensGlass Sheathing is not intended for interior or exterior tile applications.
Is a 5’8 DensGlass fire rated?
Fire Resistance DensGlass Sheathing is noncombustible as described and tested in accordance with ASTM E136 or CAN/ULC S114. 5/8” (15.9 mm) DensGlass® Fireguard® Sheathing is included in a variety of UL and ULC listings and other designs in the GA-600 Fire Resistance Design Manual.

Can you use DensGlass instead of plywood?
