How hard is Skyline Loop trail?

How hard is the Skyline Trail? Considered a moderately difficult hike. Hiking the trail counterclockwise offers hikers a lower initial elevation grade. Hiking clockwise quickly offers breathtaking views of Edith Creek and Myrtle Falls and a number of ancillary trails to explore.

Can you hike Skyline Trail in the winter?

As you head south-east the trail will loop down to meet the road just east of the original start point. Follow the road back up to Paradise lodge and you’re home free.
