Starting at the beginning of 2021 we have shifted MasterGberry away from the Badlion project onto other new initiatives. We have brought another long term Minecraft player known as Ginie1 to become the new Product Manager for Badlion Client.

What is the point of Badlion?
The BAC, or Badlion Anti-Cheat, is a feature that automatically bans cheaters. If it happens to miss someone, you can manually submit a report. You can also see a “wall of shame” of recent bans. You can also access the forums, submit suggestions, and more.

How long has Badlion client been around?
ESL had interests in the Minecraft community, and wanted to branch out to this new generation of gamers. Under the supervision of ESL, Badlion was transformed and began its journey towards Badlion Client with the release of Badlion Client 2.0 on April 26, 2018.
Why is Badlion closed?
As time has progressed we have seen a decrease in interest in Minecraft and further more a decrease in competitive/esports behavior in Minecraft. This is why today we have made the difficult decision to close Badlion Network [Minecraft servers located on na.badlion.net & eu.badlion.net & sa.badlion.net] (on June 10th).
Is Lunar faster than Badlion?
So, Badlion takes up 2.0 gigabytes, and lunar takes up 5.0 gigabytes. And As I have heard, Lunar takes MORE memory, for your Minecraft to run smoothly, while Badlion, on the other hand, takes up, like, VERY less memory, and runs up at a whopping 130 fps!
Is lunar the best client?
Lunar may not be everybody’s client of choice, but it certainly outperforms the standard Minecraft launcher and client and provides a much improved gaming experience for players looking for more.
