What is Receptal injection?

A solution for injection containing a Gonadotrophin-Releasing Hormone Analogue for the treatment of reduced fertility by ovarian dysfunction, induction of ovulation and improvement of conception rate in mares, cows and rabbits.

How do you administer ESTRUMATE?

Two mL of Estrumate (500 mcg cloprostenol) should be administered by INTRAMUSCULAR INJECTION using the specific dosage regimen for the indication. 20 mL bottle size: Use within 28 days of first puncture. 100 mL bottle size: Use within 28 days of first puncture and puncture a maximum of 12 times.

How do you use Receptal?

The preferred route of administration is intramuscular injection (im), but Receptal may also be injected intravenously (iv) or subcutaneously (sc). Storage: Store at 2 to 8°C. Protect from heat.

How do you use Fertagyl?

Dosage & Administration

  1. Each mL of FERTAGYL contains 43 mcg gonadorelin.
  2. For treatment of cystic ovaries: 2 mL per cow via intravenous or intramuscular injection.
  3. For estrous synchronization: 2 mL per cow via intravenous or intramuscular injection.
  4. Available in 100 mL and 20 mL bottles.

Where should ESTRUMATE be administered?

Antibiotic therapy should be employed at the first sign of infection. DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: Two ml of Estrumate (500 mcg of cloprostenol) should be adminis- tered by INTRAMUSCULAR INJECTION for all indications in both beef and dairy cattle.

When do you use ESTRUMATE in cattle?

A recommended guideline for use of the product in dairy cows would be as follows: After the first injection, inseminate any cows showing signs of heat. Animals that do not show signs of heat should be injected 11 days after the first injection and then inseminated 72-96 hours later.

Inhalation may cause difficulty breathing, chest tightness, and respiratory irritation with coughing, wheezing, and sputum generation. May cause eye irritation. Exposure may cause temporary irritation, redness, or discomfort. Prolonged skin contact may cause temporary irritation.
