What is a swept blend?

The Swept Blend creates a feature which is defined by two or more cross sections positioned along a trajectory – the resulting form is influenced by the sections and the trajectory. In the example below, the edge of the model is used as the trajectory and three different sections are placed along the trajectory.

What is Blend command in Creo?

The blend function in Creo is commonly known as a loft [originating from boat building] in generic CAD terms. In its simplest form we would have multiple parallel 2D sections which are spaced apart from each other.

What is helical sweep in Creo?

About Helical Sweeps. You create a helical sweep by sweeping a section (cross-sectional sketch) along a helix (helical trajectory). To define the helix, you define a helix profile, and a helix axis (axis of revolution for the helix). Helix profile. Helix axis.

What is Creo Parametric?

CREO is a CAD Software just like Solidworks. CREO was formerly known as Pro Engineer. Later it was named Creo Elements and after that they changed the Whole UI and introduced many other features to it and it is now called Creo Parametric. Creo is basically similar to Solidworks. Both software performs nearly same functions.

What is the use of Swept-Blend tool?

When both the cross section as well as the path varies you have to sweep and blend it, for which you have the tool called swept-blend. Hope this answers!! If you want to make a part in which both its end is same you can use sweep function.

What is the difference between a sweep and a parallel blend?

in blend the number of entities in sketch should be same in all sections where as sweeps had only one section. if it is parallel blend it goes straight with changing section and if rotational blend then it will rotate around specific axis, where in sweep the cross section follows the given path.

What is the difference between Pro ENGINEER and pro Creo?
