How do you put a sticker on a wall quote?
Applying the Decal
- Tape the decal to the wall. Think of the quote like a sandwich – on the bottom you have your back paper, then the actual letters of the quote, then the transfer tape on top.
- Rub the decal onto the wall.
- Flip the decal up.
- Place the vinyl.
- Rub the vinyl again.
- Remove the transfer paper.

Can I put permanent vinyl on walls?
Permanent outdoor vinyl is perfect for outdoor signs, car decals, mugs or other items that will go through the dishwasher. Most permanent vinyl has a glossy finish, but not all (Oracal 641 is a matte vinyl with a permanent adhesive). Permanent vinyl can be removed, but it may do damage to walls, paint, etc.

What size custom wall decals can you print?
The smallest custom wall decal we can print is 3”x3”. The largest decal we can print is 52”x1798” (4.33’x150’). Thus, assuming you keep one dimension under the 4.33’ maximum your size options are essentially limitless. Due to the size of our printers we would recommend any wall decal that is close to the minimum size be as simple as possible.
How do I make a custom wall decal?
Technically you can make your wall decal any custom shape you may want. This is done using a custom cut (previously known as or sometimes referred to as contour cut) or “Custom With Border” (previously known as or sometimes referred to as halo cut). Selecting custom in the cut options will cut to the exact shape of your design.

Can you put decals on top of vinyl letters?
No. Wall decals, even when cut to shape, are a different product than vinyl lettering or cut vinyl. Wall graphics are repositionable and cut vinyl is not. Also, vinyl lettering can either be applied individually or all at once using a mask or transfer paper, but each letter can be individual pieces.
