The pool is heated and open year round. The wifi worked well during our stay. Many of the bathhouses were recently updated. The trails extend from Orange Beach to Gulf Shores (close to the Walmart Supercenter) and the Woodside restaurant is within the park at the far end of Lake Shelby.
