What is Fervex used for?
Description. FERVEX is used for the simultaneous symptomatic treatment of fever, mild pain and runny nose. FERVEX contains three active substances: the analgesic and antipyretic paracetamol; Pheniramine maleate is an anti-allergic agent that reduces nasal discharge, nasal congestion, watery eyes, and sneezing.
Does Fervex make you feel sleepy?
This medicine may cause drowsiness increased by alcohol: it is preferable to start the treatment in the evening and to abstain from alcoholic beverages during the treatment.
What is the side effect of Fervex?
Dry mouth, constipation, problems urinating, sleepiness, drowsiness or insomnia, accommodation disorders (the inability of the eye to adapt when looking at objects at different distances) and mydriasis (pupil dilation), palpitations, blood pressure decrease, confusion or excitement.
Can a pregnant woman take Fervex?
This medicine should not be taken during pregnancy. This medicine should not be taken during breastfeeding.
How long does FERVEX last?
In case of renal insufficiency (creatinine clearance less than 10 ml/min), the interval between two doses should be at least 8 hours. The maximum duration of treatment is 5 days. If you have taken more FERVEX granules in a sachet than you should have: STOP THE TREATMENT AND SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE IMMEDIATELY.
