How do you use adhesive strip bandage?

Put each half of the Steri-Strip over the two sides of the cut so that it holds the wound together. Start with one side, then pull the other half over to help close the wound. Stick the second half of the Steri-Strip on the other side of the wound. Don’t apply it in the same direction as the cut.

What is an adhesive bandage used for?

Adhesive bandages are sticking plasters or dressings used for small injuries that are not of major concern and not serious enough to require a full-size bandage. They protect wounds from further injuries, friction, bacteria, and dirt. They heal wounds and hold cuts of the skin.

Can I shower with Steri-Strips?

When can Steri-Strips be removed?

Steri-strips should stay on between 10-14 days if they are placed on the trunk or extremities, and 5-7 days if they are placed on the face or neck. The steri-strips should not stay on more than 14 days. If they haven’t fallen off by day 14, you should remove them yourself.
