Is the ASE L1 test hard?

Not that they were too easy but, the ASE test questions were mostly very hard. I have taken the ASE l1 3 times I think always passing but, this time on the computer, it was more difficult. The book did help remind me of the kind of questions that they were going to ask but, probably would have passed without the book.
