Formed in October 1972, the group originally consisted of vocalist and keyboardist Tim Finn, vocalist and guitarist Phil Judd, bassist Mike Chunn, violinist Miles Golding and flautist Mike Howard, who were joined a few months later by drummer Div Vercoe.
