Is there a weight limit to iFly?
Yes, anyone with reasonable health & fitness can fly but our upper weight limit is 18 stone and 7 pounds (117kg). We do ask that you check the list of criteria below before booking.
Why is there a weight limit for iFly?
Our indoor skydiving weight limits are based on aerodynamics. Guests who DO NOT meet our suggested flight guidelines will not be able to generate enough lift to fly. The maximum limits vary for men and women due to the differences in the center of gravity.

Can overweight people go skydiving?
A weight limit for tandem skydiving is necessary for multiple reasons. All your weight sits on your thighs during the parachute ride down. This can be uncomfortable if you are overweight for your height. Nausea, loss of circulation, and even unconsciousness under the parachute can happen.
Do wind tunnels help with skydiving?
Wind tunnels are great for simulating freefall and allowing skydivers to refine their freefall body position. But if you’ve never jumped before, you’re going to struggle to get a sense of what it’s like to jump out of a plane without just doing it.

The pictures and videos iFLY takes are worth it! Sure you can take pictures with your phone, but your cameras and phones are not allowed in the wind tunnel. You can also stick your GoPro on the wind tunnel exterior if you like, but the videos come with music and are really cool!
